Nationwide Ventilation has developed a new concept in commercial kitchen canopies, “Introcirc ®”, a range of all in one re-circulation canopies, for all electric cooking equipment commercial kitchens. The range of canopies offers the following benefits:
The contaminated air will be drawn from the cook line equipment through the baffle filters within the canopy, through the canopy extract plenum, then into the services tower. Where it will be filtered through a further four stages of filtration, to remove any over spill of grease and remove the cooking odours from the air. The air is then re-introduced into the kitchen as make up air via the facia perforated supply air grilles and distributed into the kitchen. Please Note: Due to Corgi requirements Introcirc® canopies can only be used over all electrically powered equipment. Introcirc® does not reduce the re-circulated air temperature, additional cooling within the kitchen may be required. |
The variable speed controller for the fan allows the rate of ventilation to be controlled by the chef, so it may be increase at peak times and reduce for such times as food preparation. Due to the extract air being re-introduced once cleaned through the five stage filtration process, this means the extract / supply air rate of the system is always balanced. There is a warning panel which alerts the chef should any of the filters exceed their life expectancy, and lets them know that replacement filters are required for the systems to run at its optimum rate of ventilation. The Introcirc ® range of canopies is ideal for listed buildings, areas of conservation, or buildings with limited space where a normal ducted ventilation system is not possible or desirable. |
